What’s been happening:

Married 17 years to my high school sweetheart, Tara; Raising two beautiful children, Hayley Marie (14) and Dawson (10) in Avondale Hill, Luzerne County, Northeastern PA; Continuing to run a non-profit environmental public education, 501 (c)(3) organization known as the Eastern PA Coalition for Abandoned Mine Reclamation that works to reclaim abandoned mine sites and streams and rivers impacted by abandoned mines throughout PA; Continuing to serve as the appointed volunteer Chairperson for the Plymouth Township's Planning Commission the last 9 years; Volunteer Coach for Newport Township Biddy Basketball for 9 years, Greater Nanticoke Area Jr. Trojans C Team Football for the last 2 years, Nanticoke Minor Little League Assistant Coach for the last two years; Created a coloring/activity book for elementary aged students on water quality issues related to abandoned mines that has been published through grant funding provided by the PA Department of Environmental Protection; Served as President and Vice President of the Environmental Resource Management Alumni Program Group; Recent recipient of the Susquehanna River Basin's William W. Jeanes, Sr. Environmental Excellence Award for my work in protecting the waterways of the Susquehanna River Basin, Pennsylvania Environmental Council's NE Region Environmental Partnership Award, and the Jefferson Award for Public Service
